Serving the Church is a calling.

Whether employed in an official capacity or volunteering your talents and time, serving the body of Christ is something the Holy Spirit works in your heart to desire. Concordia would not be able to minister to each other or the whole Christian church on earth without every heart willingly offering their gifts in love and service. Each act of service, no matter how big or small, is a response to the grace we have first received in Christ.
As St. Paul writes, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).

Whether you’re teaching, encouraging, cleaning, singing, leading, organizing, or quietly praying - your labor in the Lord is not in vain. It is through these Spirit-led acts of faith we are able to shine as a light in the world, a beacon of Christ’s love and truth. When every member joins together in joyful service, the Church becomes a living testimony of God’s grace, mercy, and mission to reach all people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
